Sammy's Quest for Gold

One day, Sam decided/chose/wanted to climb/scale/go up the tallest/biggest/highest tree in the yard/garden/park. He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.
- Luckily, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
- But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.
From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.
His New Friend
Sam was having a little down. He wished to have a new pal to play with. One day, while he was running in the woods, he noticed something different. It was a little being with glowing scales. Sam slowly went up to the creature and said, "Hello! What's your identity?" The creature grinned and answered Sam, "My name is Lily!" And so, Sam made a new companion. They spent the rest of the day talking together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be close buddies forever.
